28-Week Doctor's Visit
Yesterday we had our 28-week visit, and all seems well. I had my glucose test (mmm...orange-flavored glucose), and if they don't call me today, I'm not in danger of gestational diabetes for now. So far, no call. Blood pressure was good and Sophie's little heartbeat was strong. We could hear it speeding up and slowing down, and the nurse practitioner said that this was a good sign because it was a sign of a maturing heart.
We now start visiting the doctor every two weeks, and they'll do another ultrasound during our next visit (March 20th). I'll try to post any good pictures we get.

Wow! Our little Sophie is really growing!! And how sweet of her to not make any stretch marks yet!! That belly button of yours is still an "innie", but one day when you wake up and hop in the shower, you'll notice it's an "outie" all of a sudden (that's just an FYI, I know you are just on the edge of your seat for more motherly tidbits).
Thanks for the pics, we love Sophie's blog site! I'll pass it on to Kyle.
Love, Mom and Dad
I tried before, now I'll try again. Sophie, I hope you are not being too active at night, you gotta let Mommy get some sleep for a couple month! We like seeing your ultrasound!..You are already older than your cousin Ayden was when he was born and we are very grateful.
Love you....Grandma Schmidt
Sophie's Aunt Heather loves to see pictures of her and Mommy. Wher's Daddy? I think it looks like Sophie is smiling in the picture where her arm is raised. How cute! Can't wait to see more! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us!
