Our First Walk
The whole family took our first walk together on Saturday. It was great for me to get out and about, but as you can see, Sophie slept through the entire walk (which lasted about 1 1/2 hours because we stopped on campus to listen to some live music at the Brass Band Festival). Maybe next time she'll be awake to enjoy the great outdoors!
And, as Ian mentioned yesterday, we had our second doctor's appointment. I took a couple of pictures while we were waiting for the doctor. Here's one of Sophie trying to eat her fist:

Finally, we had a little surprise last night: Sophie's umbilical cord finally fell off! And it fell off exactly as Grandma Fine predicted--right into her diaper!

Gary thinks she looks just like you Mindy,her hair is sure looking reddish, at least in these pictures. She looks very happy and content in her stroller, what better way to enjoy outdoors. We are happy to hear you are well enough to get out now! She is a beauty!
I can't wait each day for a new message and pictures of Sophie. She is beautiful!! She looks just like the baby pictures of her Mommy. I'm sure she looks alot like her Daddy too, but I don't have any baby pictures of him to compare her with. The pictures are precious and I treasure each one.
I am so glad, Mindy, that you are able to be out and about. What a joy for a first walk all together!
