A New Crib
Ian went and picked up Sophie's crib yesterday in Lexington--we decided it's probably the nicest piece of furniture we own!
She seemed to like her trial run right after I put the sheets on, and slept well in it last night. After having her in the pack 'n' play, she seems so small in this bed!
Also, her great grandma Linda sent us a package this week that had this duck that's the same size as she is--she liked posing with it on the couch: (**Post script: I noticed after posting this that Sophie is actually flipping off the camera! It's such a cute picture, though, so I'm leaving it on...)
And tried to eat it!

Sophie looks adorable with her new duck. It looks as though they are already good buddies. Actually she is not eating her duck, the duck is whispering a secret to her. It might be cautioning a triffle more discretion with her little fingers--loving her all the while. Her family picture on her first 4th of July is beautiful!
