Snow in Kentucky

This year is the first year that Sophie has really been able to appreciate the snow. Last year, she wasn't even crawling yet during the winter, so it wasn't really on her radar. This year, though, she's been able to enjoy it the couple of times it's snowed and stuck. Late in January, we had one of those days, and Sophie was able to touch and taste it for the first time. She now knows how to say snow and recognizes it when she sees it!

Here's the face she made after tasting it for the first time. Although it doesn't seem like she likes it, she actually has eaten snow each time it's snowed after this!
