100 Posts! (And Christmas Pics)

This post is officially the 100th post on Sophie's blog! In commemoration, I've changed her birthday ticker down at the bottom of the blog. Check it out--I think it's cute!

Anyways, I thought that I'd finally post some Christmas pictures. These are some pics that we took when we celebrated Christmas here in Kentucky on the 23rd before we left for California. We shot more video than still pictures, so eventually we'll post some video of her opening some presents. Opening gifts was very tiring for her, so we had to stop half-way through and let her take a nap! Also, as you see below, she's playing with a little stacking cup set that Ian and I bought her at Ikea for $4. It was the first present she opened, and at one point we actually had to hide them because she wouldn't open or play with anything else! She still really loves playing with them--it just goes to show you that kids really prefer the cheap simple toys over all of those flashy ones! The third picture shows a little flower garden toy that I picked out for her. It plays music and lights up if you press the little flowers. But also, as you can tell, she's still more interested in the cup.

The last two pictures shows Sophie in her new monkey hat that her Aunt Heather sent her.
