Sophie's Sick

I haven't had time to upload Sophie's first-day-of-school picture yet because she came down with a little bit of a cold yesterday. She wasn't her perky little self when she came home from daycare, and we soon found out why...she was congested. The poor liitle girl kept gagging from the congestion, which led us to a very long night with little sleep and ended with her sleeping in her carseat so she could sleep upright. This morning the gagging was causing her to throw up. We went to the doctor, and everything is fine. He said that her chest and stomach sound really good and her ears look great, so it looks like she just has a little cold. We'll see how well the PediaCare decongestant works today. We'll hope for a better night tonight!

Also, they weighed her (but didn't measure her) at the doctor's office, and she now weighs 12 lbs. 3 oz.! I knew that she felt heavier in the carseat!
