38 1/2 Weeks and Counting

Today we had our 38-week appointment. I'm due next Friday, but Sophie doesn't seem to want to make an early appearance. She's dropped a little more, but nothing else is happening that would indicate that labor is on its way. Someone told me the other day that I must be too hospitable for her to want to leave...

I did find out, though, that they will induce on my due date if I have started dilating by then, or if I haven't, then they'll induce at 41 weeks. So, it looks like she'll be born sometime before June 2nd at any rate!

Still Nuthin'

Today was my 37-week appointment (although I'm really closer to 38 weeks at this point). Still nothing happening...I guess she'll come when she comes!

36-Week Appointment

Well, we're coming down the final stretch here. Yesterday we had our 36-week appointment, and all is well. I lost a pound again, but considering how much I gained last time, it's not that big of a deal. Sophie has dropped a little, but nothing else is happening, so the doctor's pretty sure that this week is not the week she'll arrive...
